Jerome Herbert Lipsky February 17, 1931 — November 13, 2024 |
Jerome H. "Jerry" Lipsky, 93 of Kerrville, passed away peacefully on November 13, 2024. He was born in Rochester, New York on February 17, 1931, to Sidney Lipsky and Sylvia Snider Lipsky. He married his college sweetheart, Wilma Suzanne Gerber, in 1952. Jerry was a sales manager for a printing company in New York and Ohio before moving to Arlington, Texas in 1978. He started a family business, Arlington Business Forms, which he sold when he retired. After retiring, he and Wilma traveled the country in a camp trailer, before settling in Harper in 2000. After Wilma's passing in 2012, Jerry moved to Kerrville. He was preceded in death by his son, Joel Lipsky (1994), and daughter, Judith Dena Gallik (2021). He is survived by his son, David Lipsky of Live Oak; his daughter, Linda Cedor and husband Ken Pardue of Fort Worth; his son-in-law, Clint Coles of Harper; and his nephew, Robert Stickler and wife Patty of Rock Springs; his 5 grandchildren, Matthew Lipsky, Rachel Lipsky Jahns, Ruth Lipsky, Naomi Lipsky Anstedt, Evan Cedor; and 3 great-grandchildren, Dinah Jahns, Mirabel Jahns, and Warren Anstedt. Jerry loved Yellowstone National Park and enjoyed fly fishing in the rivers and streams of Montana. He was known for his great sense of humor and was loved by all. A private celebration of life will be planned for a future date. |
